Our History

In 1996 Design_Net Engineering began as a small, informal network of experienced aerospace engineers who provided high quality and cost effective system engineering solutions to a small niche of clients interested in gaining access to space. Today, the company has a solid reputation as a small, woman-owned business that provides cost effective, quality solutions in the areas of systems, electronic/electrical, mechanical, and software engineering services for government, commercial, public and private sector customers.

DNet Engineering Services and Products

Government and University Services –

We provide custom electronics, mechanical devices, software, and system engineering services for aerospace and defense applications. We have designed and delivered complex electronic/mechanical subsystems and scientific payloads for the International Space Station (ISS) and other NASA missions. DNet has been a team member to some of the major NASA centers.

Commercial and Start-Up Services –

We have expanded the scope of our services to include a full spectrum of affordable prototyping and product development offerings for commercial markets ranging from start-ups to established companies that need quality product development services from conceptualization, design, prototyping, and testing to full-scale production. We can provide technical and management support to help start-ups during their critical, early phases of business growth, as we did with Zolo Technologies Inc.
